10 Current NXT Stars Who Will Struggle On WWE's Main Roster
6. Buddy Murphy
Saying that Buddy Murphy will struggle on the main roster because he's Australian is too simplistic, but it's hard to avoid that conclusion when you look at the experiences of former Undertaker protege Nathan Jones and, more recently, Emma.
Even if you discount the possibility of an anti-Aussie agenda in the corridors of WWE power, there's still the fact that Murphy has been left with very little to occupy his time over the last 12 to 18 months, despite being on the company's books since 2013.
This is a consequence of the inexplicable decision to split the 29-year-old from former partner Wesley Blake, with whom he previously formed one of the developmental ranks' best duos, winning the tag team straps twice.
Ironically, it was the promotion to SmackDown of Alexa Bliss, their former manager, that seemed to completely derail either man's chances of making a splash on the main roster. If present-day Murphy does get there at all, there's a good chance he'll just be the next Heath Slater or Bo Dallas.
