10 Current Superstars That Are Future WWE Main Eventers

2. Finn Balor

The last NXT Champion to be presented as big of a star as Finn Balor has been presented in WWE thus far was the very first NXT Champion Seth Rollins. An argument can be made that even Rollins wasn't as protected as Balor has been since his debut in late 2014. Finn has had a strong supporter in Triple H and it's only a matter of time until Balor is called up by Vince McMahon himself. Balor, as well as the NXT brand, would likely benefit from remaining as the top star down in Orlando until the WWE has solidified a strong plan to not only introduce Balor to the WWE audiences, but to maximize his potential by developing a long-term plan. The maximum potential Balor has is up there with the very best of them, including former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and WrestleMania main event show-stealer Seth Rollins. We're sure to see Balor go from being atop NXT to sitting atop WWE, it's simply a question of when.
