10 Current Wrestlers Who Are Ridiculously Multi-Talented
3. Chris Jericho - Podcast Host / Rock Star / Commentator
Le Champion will no doubt be a Hall of Famer, perhaps in multiple halls. His long career has spanned multiple promotions and he has re-invented himself repeatedly for thirty years.
But that's far from it.
Putting Jericho on commentary is guaranteed gold. It's that simple.
In 1999, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla became the lead vocalist of the metal band Fozzy. At first, the band recorded cover versions of well-known metal tunes, but eventually started writing their own music. Fozzy has now released seven albums. His love for metal has also had him writing for Metal Edge magazine and hosting a Sirius XM show called The Rock of Jericho for several years.
Jericho has acted in several movies and a CBC television web series based on a fictional version of himself, and authored four books about his life and wrestling career.
Since December 2013, the Sexy Beast has hosted his own podcast, Talk is Jericho. His guests are usually wrestlers, musicians, or actors. Jericho has interviewed hundreds of notable guests; interestingly, after moving to AEW he was contractually no longer able to interview WWE performers.
Y2J also has good business acumen; he has organized and hosted several rock / wrestling themed cruises and is part owner of a sports training facility in Tampa.
