The 'Goat Face' has to be considered a GOAT.

Daniel Bryan's wrestling days may be over - at least as far as WWE is concerned (the man himself seems convinced that we haven't seen him lace up for the last time) - but he's still on Vince McMahon's books, and, to many, he is also the best technical wrestler the company has ever seen.

And it's not like he's short of competition. Though WWE isn't exactly renowned for its subtlety in the ring, the likes of Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and Dean Malenko are all apt to go down as some of the best of all time - it's just that they're not quite on the American Dragon's level.

Bryan is such an accomplished technician that the esteemed Wrestling Observer Newsletter actually renamed its annual "Best Technical Wrestler" category to the "Bryan Danielson Award", owing to the fact that he received the most votes in some nine consecutive years from 2005 to 2013.

That's pretty impressive (it's not like they have a "Roman Reigns Award"), although it does make us a little sad as well, so it's probably best that we don't dwell on this one for any longer.
