10 Current WWE GOATs
8. Greatest Non-Wrestler Wrestler: Shane McMahon
Is there a greater non-wrestler wrestler in the history of wrestling than Shane McMahon?
In kayfabe terms, certainly. David Arquette, for example - he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in his very first match. And what about Floyd Mayweather, who overcame a man four times his size with the help of some brass knucks at WrestleMania XXIV? By comparison, Shane - who loses almost every time he pulls on his baseball jersey - absolutely sucks.
Let's put on our smark hats for a moment, though. Shane has done things that no other non-wrestler has. In fact, he's done many things - including, most recently, his suicidal leap of faith from the top of the Hell in a Cell - that a lot of professional wrestlers wouldn't even contemplate.
Nobody's saying that he's a great technician, or even a particularly convincing brawler - those Randy Orton circa 2009 punches must have ruined the illusion for many a young fan - but that's part of his charm. He's just absolutely committed to entertaining the fans, and is prepared to take his body to hell and back in order to do it.
Although some us groaned at the news that he would be fighting AJ Styles at WrestleMania earlier this year, there's no denying that we'll miss him when he finally decides that enough is enough.
