10 Current WWE Roster Members Who Are Beyond Saving

2. Sin Cara

It's a wonder that the Sin Cara name is still alive and well in WWE a full seven years on from the character's debut in 2011. Místico, the original man beneath the mask, is long gone and Hunico, the man who plays it now, has done an admirable job of rescuing the guise from certain doom.

Even so, Cara is hardly an important part of WWE's programming, and that's more true in 2018 than ever before.

WWE's creative team (and Hunico himself) are powerless to change history. Místico was such a flop in the role that his successor must have groaned when management laid out plans to put him under the hood; whilst it was a chance at redemption for the character, it came with baggage that proved impossible to shed.

Cara has tried changing masks/overall style and is a decent worker, but he's never going to progress under the tarnished legacy of that gimmick.
