Ziggler would be the Rob Van Dam of Heyman's new ECW because he's the guy that the fans genuinely love even though he's the cockiest guy in the room. It's one of those things where fans have always liked Ziggler just because of the way he carries himself with an aura of confidence. The interesting thing about RVD's rise in ECW is that he was booked as a heel in the early part of his ECW run, but he was such a great performer that the fans started to cheer when they saw him. It's similar to Ziggler because even though he had been a heel for a few years, he was cheered loudly when he won his second World Title in 2013. That's that special connection that a wrestler wants to have with the fans, but not all of them do. There have been too many stop and start kind of pushes for Ziggler in WWE. There are times when we think maybe he's going to be some main event level guy, but then he gets pulled down and it doesn't happen. That leads to a lot of frustration. Something that Heyman was great at as a booker was his ability to get the most out of his performers whether they were going for titles or not. Out of everybody currently in WWE, Ziggler seems to be a guy that Heyman could do the most with just because we want to see more from Ziggler and Heyman definitely has a good feeling of what the fans want.
