10 Current WWE Stars Who Are Triple H Guys

2. Seth Rollins

Upon the formation of The Shield, it was clear that Roman Reigns was a Vince McMahon guy even before he became the ultra-deflating manifestation of it.

Before even CM Punk revealed the hilariously hysterical extent to which Roman must be Kept Strong, Roman - a handsome, powerful and connected performer - was always going to figure heavily in Vince's plans.

Seth Rollins is Triple H's Roman: the very first NXT Champion, and his on and offscreen protégé, Rollins has done more than enough to repay the faith of his mentor. Adept at playing the cackling, Machiavellian heel and the explosive, crowd-rousing babyface, Rollins is a protected and important fixture of WWE main roster programming, and one of its few constant highlights. With so little to invest in elsewhere, watching Rollins is reassuring. He almost guarantees a very good match at a minimum, and we are able to watch him equipped with the crucial knowledge that we aren't wasting our time.

He hasn't quite done enough to convince Vince McMahon that he is The Guy. That is the role of Vince McMahon's Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns.

And yet, with Rollins the fan-anointed great babyface hope, he may yet ride the momentum to the permanent made man main event club particularly since, unlike Daniel Bryan circum 2013, WWE is not drastically against pricking his finger.
