10 Current WWE Superstars That Aren't Hurt By Losses

1. The Rock

The Rock. Stone Cold. Hulk Hogan.

Those are the three biggest faces in WWE history; they are the biggest draws, the biggest crossover stars, and the most popular wrestlers ever to step foot in a WWE ring.

For as massive a superstar as The Rock is, he has lost more big main event matches than both those other two guys.

Certainly, as The Rock returns to the ring now (if he ever does), his role would be to elevate younger talent but even in his heyday, The Rock often did the job. His WrestleMania matches against Austin and Triple H, and other contests versus Jericho, Foley, Lesnar, and Goldberg all ended with The Rock losing and it hasn't hurt him yet.

Nowadays when he makes a return, he's as popular as ever. If he were to lace up the boots one more time or ten more times, the events would draw viewers and buyrates/subscriptions no matter the outcome. The Rock's mass appeal has not been affected in the least by his various defeats.

There's no superstar with the staying power quite like The Rock, making him truly one of a kind.
