The superstar who lost her belt to Ripley should be on her way to winning the big one by now. As mentioned earlier, the women's division needs a shot in the arm so badly. It looked like that shot was going to come from the call-up of Baszler when she ploughed through the Elimination Chamber without breaking a sweat.
After that, she vanished for a while, became a vampire briefly, lost the Money In The Bank match, and is now one of the tag champs alongside Nia Jax. While the tag division is also in desperate need of some proper contenders, we can only solve one problem at a time. Baszler has to be moving up the card due to her aura as legitimate competition to anyone. It's amazing how well WWE can build stars when they actually try.
One problem: she is on Raw. Asuka deserves an epic title reign on the red brand, which makes this one awkward but we have plenty of time to do both. Have her win a multi-woman #1 contender match, and shock the world by tapping out the champ in seconds (Bayley after the next Draft, ideally).
