How in the hell is the actual Olympic wrestler not being used? Did WWE completely forget how massively successful their last Olympic wrestler turned out?
American Alpha were brought up onto the main roster and pretty quickly found themselves lost in the shuffle. Despite having a(n ultimately forgettable) run with the SmackDown Tag Team Chanpionships, the duo were split up in favor of giving Jason Jordan the Kurt Angle father storyline... I guess he wasn’t always massively successful...
Chad Gable has floundered pretty much ever since American Alpha split up. Aside from a short-lived team with Shelton Benjamin that went nowhere and a great match against Kevin Owens, Gable hasn’t done anything worth noting despite being one of the company's best in-ring technicians.
At least this week's Raw gave us Chad Gable and Bobby Roode teaming up, but with both men having better routes available (especially with Chad now being on the same roster as Jason Jordan once again), it still leaves us wanting a little bit more.
