Sometimes, two wrestlers come around that feel like they could have some of the best matches in WWE history. AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan are two of those men, and a match pitting them against one another has a lot of potential. They've wrestled before, but never in WWE, and their journeys to the top share similarities.

AJ, just like Bryan, was never expected to become a WWE Champion when he signed with the company. Although everyone knew he was a workhorse from the off, Styles didn't seem like the kind of wrestler Vince McMahon would agree to spotlight as his main champion.

Who does that sound like?

Fans wouldn't care if WWE chose not to program Styles against Bryan in a lengthy rivalry; so long as they get to go one-on-one at house shows or in a one-off pay-per-view exhibition and are allowed to share a special moment, people will be happy.

AJ Styles is the best all-rounder in WWE right now, and that's something Bryan used to be. Make it happen, even if it's only once.
