10 Deadliest WWE Women’s Duos
3. Divas Of Doom
From August 2011 until January 2012, Beth Phoenix and Natalya ran roughshod over the women’s division. Disgusted by the litter of “perky little princesses” taking over WWE, the technically-sound, musclebound duo vowed to destroy the stereotypical divas that had polluted their sacred squared circle. They defeated LayCool in the first women’s tag team tables match at TLC 2010, and dominated the Chickbusters (AJ Lee and Kaitlyn) in singles and tag team action.
Most of their time together consisted of Natalya aiding Phoenix in her championship matches, preventing the title from being held by inferior competitors.
Although their alliance ended shortly after Royal Rumble 2012, they remained best friends outside the ring.
In a fitting tribute, Natalya was chosen to induct Phoenix into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.
