Accomplishments: 8 Time WWE Champion; 4 Time World Heavyweight Champion; 1 Time Intercontinental Champion; 1 Time Tag Team Champion; 1 Time Royal Rumble Winner; 1 Time Mr Money In The Bank No list of the most decorated champions in WWE would be complete without The Viper, Randy Orton. His 12 reigns as WWE or World Champion have kept him at the top of the card, or thereabouts, for almost his whole career in WWE. He became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history in 2004 when he won his first title at the age of only 24. He ubiquitous nature as a main eventer might rub certain fans the wrong way at the moment, with the desire for the youth movement on the roster to attain sustained main event roles, but Orton's talent and ring experience cannot be denied. Orton hasn't chased many titles outside of the World Championships, with only one run as Tag Team Champion (with Edge, as the vicious Rated RKO) and one stint as Intercontinental Champion, which took place at the start of his career. It's obvious that WWE purely sees Orton as a 'top guy' and we wouldn't be at all surprised to see him add several more World Championships in the coming years. Orton is an accepted part of the main event picture now, someone who will always be there if he is fit and capable. Other superstars with aspirations to be one of the top talents will simply have to get used to the fact that he will probably never fall down the card for too long, and know that at some point they will likely tangle with The Apex Predator.
