10 Despicably Villainous UFC Moments

1. Conor McGregor Let's Rip On Khabib (A Lot)

If what Conor McGregor said to Jose Aldo was despicably villainous, the words he aimed at Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team were about to raise the bar.

Before agreeing to return to the Octagon to do battle once again, McGregor had become embroiled in a very personal rivalry with Nurmagomedov which seemed to boil over when the Irishman threw a dollie through a window of a coach which 'The Eagle' was a passenger on.

The attack was apparently a response to Nurmagomedov confronting McGregor's teammate Artem Lobov with a group of his friends. This caused McGregor to come to his pal's aid, but that didn't excuse his actions in the end.

This was just the beginning, however.

Mac would routinely up the ante whenever he and Khabib were in the same room together in the build-up to their UFC 229 clash and comments ranging from labelling Khabib a 'glass jaw rat' to claiming that he was going to beat Khabib 'in the name of the Russian people' were sprinkled into press conferences at will.

Branding Khabib's manager a 'terrorist snitch' definitely didn't do much to aid the Irishman's cause as he was smashed by Khabib for the majority of their Lightweight title clash. Regardless of the result, McGregor's actions and words in the lead up to this epic showdown were explicit to say the least and highlighted just how vile he could be when he wanted to.
