10 Despicably Villainous UFC Moments
2. Paul Daley's Post-Fight Sucker Punch
Paul Daley and Josh Koscheck were set to go head-to-head in a Welterweight title eliminator at UFC 113, with the winner being granted a chance to take on Champion Georges St. Pierre further down the line. So, with the stakes being this high, it was inevitable that both fighters would do whatever they could to be crowned the victor.
They both did, but it was clear that Koscheck had done more on the night and would be walking away with the decision victory after the final bell had rung.
Evidently annoyed by the fact that the cocky Koscheck had gotten one over on him in such an important fight, Daley then embraced the despicable villain within and chose to attack the victor after the clash had concluded.
It's not often that you can defend Koscheck for any reason. But, on this occasion he was completely blindsided by an underhanded left hook from Daley and chose to walk away and sit on the opposite side of the cage, instead of contributing to the chaos.
Koscheck got the last laugh in the end by stating that 'it was the best shot he landed all night', but the cowardly villain Daley was fired from the UFC soon after.
