8. Mordecai (The Crucifix)

Mordecai was a very cool gimmick in WWE - a religious Zealot-type character - but it was severely wasted on Kevin Matthew Fertig and the character soon faded away. This would be further emphasised when he returned with another cool gimmick a year or so later - ECW's Kevin Thorn - and didn't make a success of that either.
