1. Lita Breaks Her Neck (2002)
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xxocc4_trish-stratus-lita-vs-molly-holly-gail-kim_sport In 2002, Lita was one of the biggest stars in wrestling. A wildly popular performer whose ability to fly off the top rope and replicate so many of the death-defying maneuvers that her male counterparts did endeared her to audiences around the world. As athletic as she was hot, she was the anti-Diva, a woman who was a role model for young women and a sex symbol to men. That she was associated with the equally-as-popular Hardy Boyz only increased her popularity. That popularity allowed her to experience some mainstream success. In 2002, she filmed an episode of Fox's Dark Angel starring Jessica Alba. During filming, she performed a hurricanrana and landed awkwardly on her head, breaking her neck. The injury required surgery that would sideline her for well over a year. During her time on the shelf, Lita volunteered at a local animal shelter (as documented on WWE Confidential) and served as a commentator on WWE's weekly B-show Sunday Night Heat. When she finally did return in September 2003, she looked sharp. Teaming with Trish Stratus at Unforgiven 2003, she defeated Molly Holly and Gail Kim in a tremendous tag team encounter. A year later, she won the Women's Championship for the first time in 4 years before turning heel and reinventing herself as a sinister sexpot.
