It's safe to say that had Roman Reigns not made a shocking recovery earlier this year, WWE would still be reeling from his devastating announcement.
Undoubtedly one of the hardest workers in the company, Reigns' superman story had reached his climax with his victory over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2018. He would then go on to have a great defence against Finn Bálor the following night on RAW, and things were looking up for Reigns.
Fast-forward two months and you wouldn't believe what you were watching. A clearly heartbroken Reigns told us that he could no longer fulfil his duties as a champion. Having already battled Leukemia for the last decade of his life, it had worsened to the point that Reigns was forced to give up the title.
