Seth Rollins' reign with the belt has been interesting, but could have already ran its course. The autumn and winter is traditionally an autopilot period for the WWE, with not quite as much thought put into storylines and match finishes as the promotion gears itself for the new build to WrestleMania. What better way to combat this stagnation than with a new, exciting babyface champion - one already accepted by the fans? It may finally be time for Ambrose to run with the ball. He's built up a great deal of momentum throughout his feud with Rollins, and has unofficially taken Daniel Bryan's position as the top non-Cena babyface of the company. His clean loss to Seth at Money In The Bank could be an issue, but the closeness of the loss and (somewhat unrealistic) resilience shown by the Lunatic Fringe could provide a springboard back into title contention. It also opens the door for a Roman Reigns betrayal and heel turn, something which would help the WWE's golden boy slowly gain the acceptance of the fans.
