Wrestling fans will never get that elusive Sting vs. The Undertaker classic that has been sought for well over 20 years now. Any notion of the match finally happening was put to bed at Night Of Champions 2015.

This was Sting's last match to date, and the WCW icon's retirement was confirmed when he knocked back surgery to repair cervical spinal stenosis. The injury was brought on by a brutal-looking Powerbomb delivered by Seth Rollins into the corner turnbuckles.

Before Night Of Champions, there were still hopes that WWE would pull the trigger on that long-awaited Sting vs. 'Taker match at WrestleMania 32. Even though people realised it probably wouldn't be great from an in-ring perspective, it was still something almost everybody wanted to see.

Due to Sting's injury in September 2015, hope faded. Now, the idea of seeing such a fantasy match seems impossible. Undertaker vs. Sting is the one that got away, and that neck injury prevented the last chance to see it happen.
