10 Dream Goldberg Matches In WWE (And How To Book Them)

9. Samoa Joe

Throughout all of WWE and NXT, there's nobody playing a better tough guy week-in week-out than Samoa Joe. In the event he was to be called up to the main roster, a pairing with fellow destroyer Goldberg would be a natural fit.

The two would likely have excellent in-ring chemistry, and unlike some characters on the roster, could compete in a believable back-and-forth battle. Goldberg would have to match his strength against Joe's considerable size and devastating technical skill, and as the heel in the match, Joe would take shortcuts too.

Though often taking similar cheap routes to getting advantages over the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor, the NXT Champion has shone in his most recent role, juggling these dastardly moments with seething aggression and a domineering presence amongst the NXT roster.

With an 18-month unbeaten streak of his own in a past life, Joe knows how to get wins in challenging circumstances. The muscle buster has beaten most that have taken it, and Big Bill would also need to steer clear of the Samoan Submission Machine's deadly array of holds.

As part of Goldberg's quest to be a modern superhero, a decisive and hard-fought victory over one of 2016's best wrestling villains would solidify his status as a both a role model and an indestructible force.
