10 Dream Matches That WWE Can Still Offer

5. Roman Reigns Vs. Cody Rhodes II

There's no getting away from this rematch either.

Hearts shattered into a million pieces when Cody Rhodes lost to Roman Reigns back at WrestleMania 39. The WWE fanbase at large was so peeved by the result that only Cody romping home to victory in Philadelphia at 'Mania 40 will soothe the burns of 2023.

Someone else defo feels like the final boss for Reigns (more on that to come), but Triple H shouldn't ignore how over Rhodes is. He's been incredible as a babyface, and a lesser worker would've accidentally turned heel long before now. Christ, WWE could stick Cody out there on a goofy national bus tour like they did with Lex Luger in 1993 and he'd make it work - that's how good he is.

The writers must realise they've got one of the most special and heartfelt moments ever in their back pockets. Cody vs. Roman II is one of those must-haves that'll surely happen at WrestleMania or some other point in the new year.
