Asuka and Io Shirai are two of the most exciting performers in the history of NXT, and although 'The Empress of Tomorrow' is not quite the enigma she once was on the black and gold brand, having her square off against the 'Queen of the Sky' on any show, let alone WrestleMania is a scintillating one.

It is unlikely that Asuka will still be Raw Women's champion come March 2021, but there is a real possibility that Shirai will still be champion on NXT. Perhaps Asuka could return to the brand she dominated for 510 days in an attempt to find herself once again, only to run into the current champion, who by the start of March 2021 will be fast approaching a 300 day reign herself.

After proving that many of the women on the current NXT roster weren't "ready for Asuka", her attention could then turn to Shirai and WrestleMania 37, where the two would face off for the first time ever in a show stealing one-on-one contest, one that Shirai must win making her not only the greatest women's champion in the history of the brand, but also the only female in the history of NXT to ever defeat Asuka.
