4. Shayna Baszler & Minoru Suzuki
The only intergender tag team on this list is also the most menacing. Shayna Baszler is a self-professed fan of Minoru Suzuki and it's easy to see why. Both are former MMA talents, and both use those skills in the ring in the most sadistic manner possible.
We spoke earlier of wrestling's need for effective babyfaces to create drama. The heels are the other half of the equation and Baszler and Suzuki, when left to their own devices, are two of the best in the business. Suzuki's February 2017 match against Okada is a masterclass, with Suzuki's aggression and relentless limb work creating tangible dread throughout a match everyone considered a foregone conclusion.
Baszler, meanwhile, deserves every bit as much credit as Kairi Sane for their aforementioned series in NXT. Shayna was great as the remorseless killer who used every available advantage to win, and if she's to find success on the main roster she needs to be allowed to show that side of her character again.
Ruthless, unforgiving and completely without mercy, Baszler and Suzuki would be the most terrifying pairing in all of wrestling.
