10 Dream WWE Matches Between Stars From Different Eras

1. Kurt Angle (2001) vs. Daniel Bryan (2014)

Kurt Angle Daniel Bryan There's no science behind this one other than the science behind this one. Two of the greatest workers ever facing off in what could potentially be one of the pinnacles of the business. You could choose multiple years for both guys to represent them in this match. Purists would probably argue that Ring Of Honor's Brian Danielson was a superior worker to Daniel Bryan. He definitely had more creative freedom in his matches due to the constraints of the mainstream WWE style. Kurt Angle has been awesome since basically the moment he stepped foot in the ring. Daniel Bryan in 2014 is riding a wave of momentum and popularity we haven't seen since the heyday of Stone Cold. He's having great matches with everyone he faces and is in line for a WWE Championship run and hopefully the full support of the company. 2001's Kurt Angle gave us an incredible series of matches with Chris Benoit (these two were always magic) as well as pretty much every other top star in WWE. The only story you really need for this one is the heel Olympic gold medalist, patronizing underdog Bryan for his impressive ability that isn't quite on his level. Bryan would be eager to test himself against the best in the business and would be up for the challenge. The resulting match would be an absolute feast for fans who enjoy the very best that professional wrestling has to offer. Sound off with your own dream matches in the comments below.
