10 Dream WWF vs WCW Matches We All Had In The 90s

6. D-Generation X vs. nWo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv2ju5Q0i0g If you had to define WCW and WWF during the Monday Night Wars by one faction in each promotion, you€™d undoubtedly pick the nWo and D-Generation X. (What, you thought Dungeon of Doom and The Union deserved more consideration?) These two groups were focal points on their respective programs, with major angles and numerous titles running though both groups. While €œStone Cold€ Steve Austin, Mankind, Undertaker and a host of others were vital to WWF€™s success, DX is the standout group of wrestlers. Same goes for the nWo in WCW. You could make this any combination of members: a tag match between Shawn Michaels/Triple H versus The Outsiders, or an eight-man match with Triple H, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws battling nWo Hollywood or the Wolfpac. Either way, a confrontation between DX and the nWo would have torn the house down. Of course, the closest fans ever got to this dream faction match was in April 1998 when Raw and Nitro were being broadcast less than 20 miles apart in Virginia. DX drove over to where Nitro was taking place in a jeep, riling fans and trying to get into the building. Sadly, it never got beyond the publicity stunt stage, but it definitely got fans€™ imaginations going.
