Here's some back to back Drew McIntyre goodness.

Or...badness that turned to goodness, depending how you look at it. Big Drew rolled into Clash At The Castle 2022 with loads of babyface momentum. Some fans really thought they were about to see McIntyre dethrone Roman Reigns on UK soil and end the Bloodline leader's 'Tribal Chief' run. Anyone in Wales who thought that'd be the case would leave disappointed.

Disappointment is the key word, actually. Drew lost to Roman, then bizarrely started singing Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline' with Tyson Fury. It felt odd, and like a missed opportunity for McIntyre as a babyface. Here's the thing: That defeat pushed him ever-closer to an eventual (justified) heel turn.

Drew got sick of playing the hero but getting nothing for it. So, anyone disgusted with WWE for failing to put the belt on him at Clash 2022 would be rewarded for their patience longer term. That's become a hallmark of the Triple H era. He does reward your patience.
