10 Dumbest Match Finishes In Modern Wrestling History

9. Gallus Vs. Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs - NXT, August 23, 2022

"The Gallus boys", spared from the NXT UK cull by virtue of being large and intense, which Triple H finds irresistible, rocked up on NXT 2.0 recently on the road to Worlds Collide, working Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs.

It's one thing to book a "creative" finish, because some people conflate that with stupidity. It's quite another for an industry professional, a massively experienced producer no less, to completely forget one of the most basic rules in wrestling. It's not as if this isn't one of the first things they learn as a fan, much less as a road agent, the minimal qualification required for which is an in-ring career spanning several years.

After several minutes of drab brawling, Pretty Deadly interfered and started wailing on Jensen and Briggs. Automatic disqualification. Except it wasn't; instead of fearing for their safety and upholding the rules, the referee was more concerned with their spending too long on the outside.

"You there, the one getting their f*cking head stoved in during an assault - stop bloody time-wasting, eh?!"

Jensen and Briggs lost by count-out, and it's not as if WWE are averse to a DQ finish either. They're mad for it!

Of course, this wasn't the first terrible finish involving Jensen and Briggs.

"Of course".

It's NXT 2.0. You've no bloody idea, unless you're a 62 year-old yank mushing his cack into an erection at the sight of Toxic Attraction.
