10 Dumbest Match Finishes In Modern Wrestling History

3. The Fiend Vs. Seth Rollins - WWE Hell In A Cell 2019

You've read about this to death, but it demands inclusion on a list with this title. Sorry for that. Hell In A Cell 2019 is the Montreal of sh*t wrestling.

The Pipebomb of supernatural b*llocks.

The why didn't Hulk Hogan work Ric Flair or Steve Austin at WrestleMania of Bray Wyatt.

The red lighting was meant to convey hell, but it was just Kane sh*t, only more horrifying (with the obvious exception of his Twitter account). Rollins throughout the match tried and failed to attack the Fiend to no effect. Christ, it's no wonder WWE tired of the act. People rubbish the idea that Bray Wyatt is a creative genius, but for a while, he successfully pitched a gimmick that no-sold as his primary character trait. That's the carny dream, and Wyatt lived it.

At one point, the Fiend retrieved a giant mallet. In a match with no rules, he would have been allowed to use it, had Rollins not wrested it away from him. The referee did however take umbrage with Rollins using a smaller hammer, and ruled the match with no rules a no-contest.

Apply this logic elsewhere. Remember Big Show's giant chair? Imagine that being legal, but a weaker opponent being unable to wield your regulation CTE distributor. That would make no f*cking sense, correct?

Where's that small detail in those tomes about the lore on r/SquaredCircle?
