10 Dumbest Reasons Wrestlers HATE Each Other For Real

1. CM Punk & The Elite

It was midway through Punk's rage-laden seminar in the aforementioned scrum that he dropped the following line about exactly why he was - unprovoked - discussing Colt Cabana;

"We have irresponsible people who call themselves EVPs and couldn't f*cking manage a Target and they spread lies and bullsh*t and put into a media [that] I got somebody fired...and the fact that I have to get up here and do this in 2022 is f*cking embarrassing."

He'd thrown down a shoot gauntlet to Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, and wasn't finished, adding;

"And I will still walk up and down this hallway and say if you have a problem with me, take it up with me. Let's f*cking go."

They did just that.

The drama that ensued was as good as predicted in this moment, and while a workplace dispute escalating into violence is something from a bygone era, top-down mismanagement along the way expedited the huge divide between arguably the company's three most important wrestlers and inarguably the organisation's biggest draw.

It can be fixed, of course. The four men have substantially more in common than what theoretically separates them, but stubbornness and pride are included in those shared traits. If those can't be looked past (especially in a manner that the public will likely have knowledge of), it may take longer than is ideal before a beef is squashed.
