10 Dumbest Things That Happened At WrestleMania 31

4. Divas Get Half The Time Of The Superstars

In the run up to this year€™s WrestleMania, one of the biggest talking points became the treatment that the WWE€™s Divas division gets, and how little time they get to showcase their skills when compared to the superstars. The success of NXT and their women€™s division has only increased awareness of how good women€™s wrestling can be, and that coupled with WWE€™s audience now being nearly 50% women in part led to the #GiveDivasAChance movement. When the tag match of AJ Lee & Paige v The Bella Twins was announced, many were frustrated it wasn€™t something for the Divas Championship but after the great Paige v Nikki Bella match earlier in the week, hopes were high for the WrestleMania match. The tag match did end up being fun, but it was only six minutes and forty-two seconds long, when the next shortest match was basically double that at 13:15. If a Divas match on Raw is on average half the length of a men€™s match, then how is doing the exact same thing for longer at WrestleMania giving them a chance? People don€™t watch WrestleMania for say, a Kid Ink concert, they watch it for wrestling, and there were far too many segments at this year€™s event that could have easily had time cut to make room for a really stellar Divas match.
