10 Dumbest Ways WWE Wrestlers Lost Matches

High risk, no reward: no, that does not summarise Shane McMahon's failed legal cannabis investment, but rather his entire approach to pro wrestling strategy.

You would think, after the first time Shane McMahon scaled a stupendous height, only to fall from it without landing on his target, that he would save himself the bother. This was the case at SummerSlam 2000, when he at least, as a non-wrestler, had the good grace to be sh*t-scared of a pro wrestler. He scaled the staging area, followed by Steve Blackman, only to be removed from it by a few thwacks of the kendo stick. Years later, older and somehow harder, Shane - WWE's equivalent of Minoru Suzuki or something - took a liking to leaping from the Hell In A Cell structure as a deliberate offensive strategy. He failed at WrestleMania 32, for the love of Mankind (if any a line there was to be memorised...). That did not stop him from attempting ostensible suicide at Hell In A Cell one year later, foiled only by the "guardian angel" of opponent Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn.

You would think Shane would try wrestling since, as he demonstrated with AJ Styles, he's somehow elite at it - but since he essentially no-sold those feats of bravery, it probably doesn't matter.

They didn't hurt!
