10 DVD Documentaries WWE Must Make

3. Backstage At NXT

This would be a completely fresh take on the wrestling documentary as it would show the young guns, the 'next big things', training and competing to get the rub for the big leagues. Starting with the first season of NXT and the reasons why the programme was created, it would be great to hear Wade Barrett, etc. talk about the way the programme worked and the problems with it. Also, for those first few seasons, there could be an examination of their impact on the main roster including the Nexus angle. From there, the WWE could then take us to the Performance Centre and the Full Sail University weekly tapings. It could take in training with such up and comers as Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Konnor as they discuss the 'WWE style' and how they have to adapt (particularly with the massive changes in Zayn's gimmicks). This documentary would be a great behind-the-scenes style piece on what it takes to make it in the WWE and also the build NXT is currently getting to the point where WWE clearly wants to make it the 'third brand' on the Network. It will also be a chance for some mainstream attention on the stars of tomorrow.
