10 Early Contenders To Win WWE Money In The Bank 2017

7. Mojo Rawley

He’s far from the finished article, but WWE clearly see something in Mojo Rawley.

The former Hype Bro got his WrestleMania moment by winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal this year, and will likely continue as a prominent midcarder. Furthermore, his friendship with Rob Gronkowski opens up the possibility of plenty of celebrity television spots, and if the rumours that WWE are looking to sign ‘The Gronk’ when he retires from the NFL are true, it’s easy to see why they’d push Mojo.

Rawley hasn’t done much since ‘Mania, but given how threadbare the blue brand’s midcard is, it’s only a matter of time before he finds himself in a storyline. Does he make sense as a potential WWE Title challenger? Probably not, but considering the company apparently expects Jinder Mahal to headline Backlash, anything is possible.

Mojo feels like a surefire candidate for inclusion in the match, and his presence would at least, ahem, hype the crowd for a while. He has his critics, and his in-ring capabilities are far behind most of his peers, but WWE are going to push who they want regardless, and Rawley could be one of the next guys up.
