5. Michelle McCool

Another female wrestler way ahead of her time who deserves credit for paving the way for modern-day women's wrestling is Michelle McCool.

One of the most decorated female performers of her era, the inaugural Diva's champion only spent five years on the main roster after being discovered during the 2004 Diva Search, but is one of the most well remembered and beloved competitors from the women's division at the time.

2010 was unquestionably her finest year; forming the iconic LayCool partnership with Layla, becoming champion, and being named Pro Wrestling Illustrated's 'Woman of the Year'.

The fact that McCool is married to The Undertaker shouldn't come into it, she deserves the recognition in her own right, and arguably the only thing stopping her from going in...is herself.

Going into the Hall of Fame traditionally signals the end of an in-ring career, but her sporadic appearances in the women's Royal Rumble and at WWE Evolution have sparked suggestions of one more singles run or perhaps the reunion of LayCool to challenge for the women's tag team titles.

Nevertheless, McCool merits a place in the 2020 Class hopefully following a brief stint in the squared circle one last time.
