10 Early Predictions For WWE Hall Of Fame 2019
6. JBL
This one is, admittedly, perhaps a bit of a long shot. JBL is deeply unpopular with large section of the WWE fanbase at the moment, owing to reports that he was guilty of bullying fellow commentator Mauro Ranallo last year.
On the other hand, Vince McMahon appears to absolutely love the guy. How else do you explain the fact that he's been on the company's payroll - either as a wrestler, commentator or ambassador - for more than 20 years now?
If you set aside those accusations of douchebaggery, it actually makes plenty of sense too. JBL is comfortably one of the best bad guys of the modern era, his year-long reign as WWE Champion on SmackDown still a reference point for any and all heels today.
The task of inducting him would obviously have to be given to Ron Simmons, aka Farooq, who partnered up with him in the ring and on the road as part of The APA until 2004. There's nobody else who could really do it justice.
