5. Dean Malenko

There's no amateur detective work behind this one. Dean Malenko is just a fabulous wrestler who deserves to be able to call himself a WWE Hall of Famer, and next year is as good a time as any to make it official.

In case you need a rundown of Malenko's accomplishments in the squared circle, here's the condensed version: alongside the likes of Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, he basically helped create an entire new weight class in WCW.

Throw in the fact that he's spent the last decade working behind the scenes as a WWE road agent, and it's fair to say that he has given an enormous amount to the business (most of which we'll probably never be able to truly appreciate).

To induct him, they might favour calling in one of the wrestlers with whom he set the world alight during his heyday (Chris Jericho springs to mind), but a solid left-field choice could be Daniel Bryan, who counts Malenko among his childhood heroes. Wouldn't that just be totally adorable?
