10 Early Predictions For WWE WrestleMania 34

3. Triple H Vs. Samoa Joe

Barring injury, Triple H is guaranteed to wrestle at WrestleMania 34.

And why not? It's irritating and counterproductive that Trips almost invariably wrestles the longest match on any given 'Mania card - especially when one such match was against the near octogenarian Sting - but he's a great performer on his day, and he's a draw.

Some accuse Triple H of shoehorning and putting himself at the forefront of WWE's hottest storylines, and the Summer of Punk II is a particularly damning example of his legendary ego, but in recent years his activity has been more insidious. Much like his association with Seth Rollins, positioning Samoa Joe as his protege feels like foreshadowing - an Evolution-like method of forging a partnership purely to facilitate a separation further down the line.

If Triple H is going this route, it at least promises a different sort of match to what we've become accustomed. Unlike Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, who were positioned as underdogs because they were either top babyfaces or storyline injured, Joe can't - or shouldn't - fight from underneath. It would betray his character, but then again, latter day Triple H tends to wrestle a latter day Triple H match - epic and methodical.

In some respects it barely matters who he's up against.
