10 Early Reasons To Be Worried About WWE WrestleMania 37
9. Lack Of Women's Contests
At the time of publication, only the SmackDown Women's Championship has a clear-cut path heading into Raymond James Stadium. It's definitely going to be Sasha Banks defending against Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair.
What about the Raw Women's Championship, though? The Women's Tag Team Championships? Hell, even the NXT Women's Championship? There's no clearly laid out direction for any of these titles as we approach WrestleMania, and it's quite worrying.
An easy assumption would be to guess Charlotte Flair's in the Raw title picture, either vs. Asuka or vs. Rhea Ripley, with Naomi and Lana maybe getting their tag title shot against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at the event. It gets Lana her WrestleMania moment, at least.
Given the impact of the women's evolution in WWE over the past few years, this should be far from the case. Last year's event saw all four aforementioned titles on the line, as well as a pre-show contest between Natalya and Liv Morgan. Granted, that was a dismal bout, but it rounded the total up to five. Sadly, as it currently stands, it doesn't look to be going in the same direction this time around.
It's times like this when you realise just how few genuinely established women's stars there actually is in WWE. Even Tamina got on last year's show. F*cking hell.
