10 Early Reasons To Be Worried About WWE WrestleMania 37
5. Edge Gets Injured, Again
This would be the worst-case scenario going into WrestleMania.
Edge, currently on track to potentially lift the Universal Championship exactly ten years after he was forced to retire, could easily get injured again. Keep in mind he was injured last year in just his third match back, that being The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever vs. Randy Orton at Backlash.
Even though he has been officially cleared to compete, his neck can't be in its best form given the medical records of 'The Rated R Superstar'. You can only suffer so many neck injuries.
His match with Roman Reigns has been built up so perfectly thus far. The promos between the pair have made for some of WWE's greatest programming in recent times, while the short flurries of action they've had together has been of a high standard. Edge's surprise Spear to 'The Tribal Chief' at Elimination Chamber was genuinely outstanding.
It could easily all be for nothing, sadly. Should the Hall of Famer go through the worst possible situation once again, he could find himself in a similar spot to that of 2011, and the match will be off.
WWE appear to be limiting his hands-on involvement until the big match thankfully, and so this shouldn't pose a problem, but let's just hope Edge was cleared to compete for a reason.
