For context, this article is being written on Friday, 26 February. Rhea Ripley's official move to Monday nights is still fresh in fans' minds. Having been in the final two of the women's Royal Rumble Match, fans are eager to see what 'The Nightmare' will do next, simply because all the potential is there for her to be a genuine megastar

Unless, she falls victim to the common WWE trope of NXT stars failing on the main roster.

A former NXT Women's Champion, Ripley could very easily get lost in the shuffle. Raw's women's roster currently features the likes of Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, and Alexa Bliss, amongst other lower-ranked names like Lana, Nikki Cross, and Lacey Evans.

Calling up NXT talents so close to WrestleMania provides issues with the current landscape of WWE. There's already an array of guys and gals on the main roster missing out on a regular space that it often results in these call ups failing to land on their feet.

Typically, they wouldn't occur until after WrestleMania at least, and even then they can still flop. Just ask Bo Dallas, Adam Rose, Apollo Crews, the list goes on. Rhea Ripley can't and shouldn't be one of them. She's on another level.

Imagine if she slips into Main Event bouts vs. Dana Brooke on a weekly basis? Please, no.
