It's been over three years since Shayna Baszler made her main roster debut after biting, yes biting, Becky Lynch's neck and the second those teeth sunk in, it felt like her run was doomed. Since then, she has won the Womens Tag Team titles three times, but has never had that dominating singles run similar to the one that defined her in NXT. Well, now is the time to pull the trigger on the 'Queen of Spades'.
Shayna is set to face her former tag partner Ronda Rousey in an MMA Rules match at SummerSlam in what is being widely reported as Ronda's last WWE bout. If that is the case then it is the perfect catalyst to kickstart her badass run which can run all the way to next April.
Start with her retiring Ronda, which is an accolade not to be questioned, and then have her go on a monster squash run all the way to the Rumble where she can win the prestigious match and go on to face Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania. Not only is Shayna one of the few credible women on the roster to take the title off Ripley but also holds great symmetry after Rhea was the one to end Baszler's destructive NXT title reign.
This feels like the last chance to give Shayna that monster push she desperately needs and there is no better way than beating Rousey and going on to win the Royal Rumble.
