10 Early Winners For WWE Royal Rumble 2024

5. Logan Paul

Logan Paul winning a Royal Rumble match is a terrible idea, right? The biggest rub in wrestling going to a part-timer celebrity who will only appear a handful of times on the Road to WrestleMania is an awful ideal, yes? Which is exactly why WWE would book it.

It's clear that the company wants Logan to win some sort of championship or accolade during his run, and who can blame them? Having him parade a title around on his podcast and any media appearance or boxing fight is the dream scenario for WWE - and is exactly the sort of thing they would book.

Now, nobody is advocating for him to dethrone Roman, but now there are two World titles, the prospect is far easier to achieve. Whether it's Seth, Finn or Priest, Logan winning the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania ticks a lot of boxes for WWE management. But is it actually a bad idea?

On the face of it, yes it very much is - but if booked right then it could be a stroke of genius. Say Paul slithers his way to win the Rumble in true heel fashion, his limited appearances could work in his favour and make the build to the title match even more special.

Of course, Logan doesn't have to become champion even if he wins the Rumble, but it seems a waste of time having him win one without the other - and it's not like he can waltz around with a visual of a Royal Rumble victory unless Braun Strowman wants to loan him his Greatest Royal Rumble belt.
