OK, so Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka only happened at WrestleMania 34. It was an epic though, and both proved they're well worth a rematch somewhere down the line. SummerSlam, the second biggest show of the year, is the most fitting time to make that happen, albeit with the proverbial shoe on the other foot.

It'd be damaging to Asuka if she lost against Carmella at Money In The Bank. 'Mella, the kind of over-confident heel who doesn't necessarily need the title to crow about her own brilliance, can bounce back. A second pay-per-view loss in three months for Asuka? That's a different story.

Once Asuka beats Carmella at MITB, the rest of the story writes itself.

During her victory celebration on SmackDown, Flair could rightly point out that she beat Asuka in New Orleans. Therefore, she believes a crack at the newly-crowned champion is in order, and she wants to do it at SummerSlam. From there, WWE can begin the build to Asuka vs. Flair II.
