10 Early WWE SummerSlam 2018 Predictions

5. Kurt Angle Vs. Triple H

WrestleMania's mixed tag match wasn't really about Kurt Angle or Triple H. The main meat of the match centred around Ronda Rousey's in-ring debut and the tease that resident superbastard Stephanie McMahon would be taken down a peg.

Angle and Trips can have their moment at SummerSlam instead.

This remains a big time match WWE must be interested in booking. It ticks a lot of boxes; Kurt's part-time schedule is an excellent fit for massive pay-per-views like this, the issues between he and The Authority are still burning in the background on Raw, and Triple H can be trusted to take care of him in the ring.

As far as mid card distractions go, this is a doozy. Best of all, a pre-match stipulation could call for Steph and Triple H to be stripped of all power should they lose. This time (unlike Survivor Series 2014), that'd come true and finally release Raw from the overbearing rule of the power couple.
