10 Elimination Chamber Participants Who Never Stood A Chance

2. Big Daddy V

Elimination Chamber 2012
WWE

(The Undertaker Vs. Batista Vs. Finlay Vs. Montel Vontavious Porter Vs. The Great Khali Vs. Big Daddy V - No Way Out 2008)

Consider this entry the redemption of Finlay, who at least wasn't the worst contender in the match.

WWE had tried to make Nelson Frazier Jr. happen so many times. Firstly, he was the positive role model Mabel in Men on a Mission. Then he was crowned King of the Ring in 1995 and became King Mabel, challenging Diesel for the WWE Championship at that year's SummerSlam in a much maligned match. After leaving the WWE and returning a few years later, he was thrown into the Ministry of Darkness as Viscera. Following a stint in the Hardcore division he left again, before coming back once more as the World's Largest Love Machine. When that didn't work he was shipped off to ECW, where he had his shirt removed and was christened Big Daddy V; his worst gimmick from a long list of nonstarters.

Combining ECW and SmackDown for this match proved how much more valuable the blue brand was. Big Daddy V's pod was the first to open, but he was met by match starters Batista and The Undertaker. He was gone after a DDT on the steel floor of the chamber; not even a finishing move was needed to take him out.

Poor Nelson Frazier Jr. was somebody WWE just didn't know how to book, no matter how many times they repackaged him.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
