Before becoming All Elite and changing the industry forever, Matt and Nick Jackson found themselves bumping for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from 2009-2011.

They'd return to TNA/Impact Wrestling in the years to come, but it was during that initial period of wrestling as Generation Me when the eventual AEW EVPs were dealt one of the most embarrassing losses of their entire career - a defeat that the average AEW lover probably wasn't even aware of.

At this time, former WCW and WWE man Eric Bischoff was serving as the company's Executive Producer and an on-screen personality who wasn't exactly a fan of Impact's X Division lads. So, Bischoff decided to book a contest that would pit a then-Max and Jeremy against one of their idols, Matt Hardy, and a gi-wearing Bisch.

And what followed was pretty much as terrible as you'd expect.

Saying that, the Young Bucks vs. Hardy section of the action actually wasn't half bad. But the second Bischoff got the late tag after Matt Jackson had been humbled by Hardy's Ice Pick submission, things took a turn for the humiliating.

After doing something similar in strange fights with the likes of John Cena and Teddy Long over the years, the grey-haired martial artist unleashed a few jarring strikes on the Young Buck. He then proceeded to tightly pin Jackson like he was reuniting with a long-lost love for the win.

2011 was wild.
