Now sure, the legendary CM Punk was at least able to technically defeat a fellow wrestler during his bout with Big Daddy V at No Mercy 2007, but he still didn't exactly walk out of the Allstate Arena feeling like a winner.

The hometown ECW Champion hero was awkwardly smothered by the giant challenger during their less than two-minute slog.

And just as the Illinois crowd attempted to find even just a little bit of joy in the sight of Punk standing victorious post-Matt Striker intervention, the monstrous former Mabel repeatedly crushed 'The Best in the World' with Samoan Drops and thunderous elbows, bringing a night the 'Chick Magnet' no-doubt erased from his memory long ago to a painful end.

As the champ was awkwardly helped to the back with blood trickling out of his mouth, you could almost hear the sound of Vince McMahon cackling in Gorilla at the new heel titan he likely felt he'd gotten over with this humiliating beatdown.

He didn't. This Big Daddy was released less than a year later.

In reality, all this contest will be remembered for is being arguably Punk's worst-ever match, and another reminder of WWE's odd penchant for making hometown heroes look like geeks in their own backyard.
