Homophobe!

Yes, back in 1997, Triple H went full '90s and declared his staunch heterosexuality to the world. Regrettably, Bret Hart "started it". On that night, at least.

With an unacceptable rant not remotely mitigated by the backstage bother that had made its way onscreen, Bret in some wildly ill-advised wordplay got the Kliq back by stumbling upon the fact that "HBK" and "HHH" shared the same first initial of their nicknames.

"I know what the 'H' in 'HHH' stands for, and what the 'H' in 'HBK' stands for, and that's "homo"!"

Triple H tried to respond with what sounded like a quip in his head. The cadence of the delivery very much indicates that he was trying to pop his DX stablemate and his buddies in the back. "I'm no queer," Triple H said, with quite the defensive tone. Of course, every other '90s wrestler was a total d*ck, but this was consistent with how Triple H operated at the time. This is a man who performed a monkey gesture at Mark Henry.

But relax, Sidgwick, you mark.

It's not as if Triple H is this lame in real life...
